Our Organizational Structure
TANE CRESCENT SCHOOL has a Creche, pre-school, Nursery section and Primary section. At the helm of affairs is the school board followed by the School Management Committee (SMC), comprising the Head teacher, coordinators and the administration manager.
The Head Teacher
- The head Teacher is in charge of the academic aspects and heads teaching and learning and work with the early years’ and Basic class coordinators, together with the various committee heads.
- The coordinators are chosen based on their individual performance on their job.

Tane Crescent School is staffed by purpose driven and passionate professionals who share in the vision of grooming outstanding and globally minded pupils. The minimum requirement for teaching staff is the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE). Our Teachers must hold a relevant teaching qualification including NCE, B.ed, P.G.D.E in education in addition to a bachelors degree or M.ed in relevant areas.
- The teachers are next to the coordinators and are assisted by teaching assistants, especially in the pre-school and nursery classes.
- The non-teaching staff are the administration manager, school nurse, care-giver, facility maintenance officers, drivers and the security guards.
Mrs. Adeleke was born in 1956 into the Dosunmu Royal Family. She hails from Lagos Island in Lagos State.
She finished her secondary school education at Jubril Martin Memorial School and thereafter furthered her education at Yaba College of Technology where she obtained a National Diploma in Fine Art and Higher National Diploma in Fashion.
She taught at Itolo Girls High School, Eric Moore for four years and was later posted to State Grammar School, Eric Moore for another four years to teach physically challenged children (deaf and dumb).
Her love for children and the desire to see them get the right head start in life prompted the need to start off Tane Crescent School in 2008.
In order to fulfil her desire as an educator, she enrolled at University of Lagos where she attained an Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood. This education empowered her with the skills needed on the job and helped to update her on the current practices in the field of education.
Tane Crescent School is Government Approved and is situated at 30, Godwin Okigbo Street, Masha, Surulere, Lagos.
