our history
Tane Crescent School is a Nursery & Primary School which was established in January, 2009 by a great visionary, Alhaja Muteeat Oluwatoyin Adeleke. The school commenced operations with 2 pupils at 23, Memudu Aremu Street, Off Cole Street, Surulere. By the year 2016, the student population had grown to over 130 pupils, hence, there was a an urgent need to move to a new location, 30 Godwin Okigbo Street, Masha, Surulere, Lagos where the school is currently operating.
At the moment, the school has a crèche, and a total of 9 classes with qualified and dedicated teachers.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The school will expect a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice in writing. This will enable us plan for contents that will be taught while the child is away from school.
Whatever the age or class of the child, our blend of Montessori phonics in The Language Curriculum alongside Jolly phonics will be used to systematically build the child’s reading skills.
Our Fees comprise of Compulsory & Optional Fees
Compulsory Fee: Tuition, Any of the Extracurricular activities, Programs and events, Coding, Elocution, Safety Fee, PTA, Administrative Fee and Uniform
Optional Fee: Lunch, Transportation and After School Services
Monday to Thursday: 7.45am to 3.00pm
Friday: 7.45am to 2.00pm
Yes, you can. Only well packaged treats which will be sent home will be allowed.
Yes, we do. Afterschool services includes care and monitoring of children from the hours of 3pm to 6pm.
Our staff are well trained to safeguard the children in their care. The small class ratio of 15 pupils to a teacher and an assistant teacher also serves as a measure in ensuring that our pupils are adequately monitored at every point in time. No child can be found within our premises without an adult’s supervision.
Top notch security services have also been provided within the school’s premises and the estate where the school is located. Our environment is child friendly and safety checks are done on a daily basis.
